URI North America is joining with Cooperation Circles and interfaith partners across the US for an Interfaith Call-in Day to Prevent Gun Violence Monday, February 4 As we celebrate World Interfaith Harmony Week this week from February 1-7 what better opportunity is there to demonstrate national interfaith solidarity than to support this interfaith initiative designed to empower each of us to help cultivate a Culture of Peace in the United States. Carol Hovis, Executive Director of the Marin Interfaith Council, a URI Cooperation Circle, clearly articulates the important timing of this effort and opportunities for involvement below.
